Job Summary
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring our inventory is handled safely and efficiently. We are actively hiring in both our Washington DC and North Carolina facilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines while operating heavy machinery.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid Driver's License (not always required but preferred).
- Willingness to undergo a forklift certification course.
