Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to maintain optimal workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE and following OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification training course provided by the employer.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand safety labels and instructions.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.
