Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials to and from storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues or damages before operation and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and document stock movements using handheld scanners.
- Follow all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain a valid Forklift Operator Certification (On-the-job training provided).
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory tracking.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Good communication skills and a strong team-oriented attitude.
