Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working order.
- Accurately manage inventory by scanning and tagging products during the receiving and shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for scanning equipment.
