Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and railcars, ensuring cargo is handled with care and placed in designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections before use and report any maintenance issues or malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment for everyone.
- Assist with inventory management, including picking, packing, and verifying stock accuracy during cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
- No prior forklift experience required – we provide training for candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Strong work ethic and reliability with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic reading and writing skills to read safety labels, operating logs, and inventory tags.
