Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the safe movement of materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily for safety and maintenance needs.
- Organize stock and inventory to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and obtain forklift certification during training.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory.
