Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and stage materials.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to meet daily productivity targets and shipping deadlines.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including sweeping, organizing, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- No previous forklift experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (we will help you get certified).
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer skills for scanning labels and logging data.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Must be 18 years or older and pass a background check and drug screen.
