Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Load and Unload Freight: Efficiently move products from trucks to storage areas and vice versa, ensuring cargo is handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by organizing warehouse aisles and ensuring items are properly tagged.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse regulations to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues or damages to machinery immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for eager learners. Previous forklift experience is a bonus, but not a requirement as we provide training.
- Valid Driver's License: A current driver's license is required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Safety Mindset: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a consistent full-time schedule.
