Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select merchandise from the warehouse shelves and package items for shipment according to customer orders.
- Inventory Verification: Use handheld scanners and WMS systems to verify product codes, quantities, and locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other material handling equipment as required.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and ensure all packaging is secure and compliant with shipping standards.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies during all shifts.
- Shift Flexibility: Assist in meeting daily production targets by working efficiently during assigned shifts, including overtime if necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or retail experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on accuracy and detail when handling merchandise.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management systems (WMS) quickly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
