Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo security.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of potential hazards or obstructions.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and throughput goals.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift operator certification through our company training program.
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver’s license (not always required, but preferred).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
