Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products to designated storage areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk and prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift (Counterbalance or Reach) is preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain one within 30 days).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and scanning.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
