Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory through systematic picking, packing, and stocking procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety protocols at all times
- Document operations and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Support cross-functional tasks during peak demand periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent required
