Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock areas efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and quickly to meet daily shipping targets.
- General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- License: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for weekend and holiday shifts to meet overtime demands.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
