Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load & Unload Freight: Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using proper loading dock procedures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting and maintaining accurate stock records using handheld scanners.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required.
- Entry Level Friendly: Previous forklift experience is a plus, but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
