Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet daily and seasonal targets.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and implement procedures to reduce shrinkage and improve organization.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conducting regular safety audits.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline workflow and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyors, is maintained and in safe working condition.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Certification is required.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a diverse team and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
