The Role
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and lead a team of dedicated associates. You will ensure that all safety protocols are met while maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules for the provided warehouse machinery.
- Handle personnel issues, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
