Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and machinery to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse management system.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and workplace safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and order picking processes.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent) is required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn warehouse software.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
