As a Forklift Operator at Apex, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and safely. We are currently hiring for immediate start dates, with a strong focus on overtime opportunities to help you maximize your earnings.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stage materials and products according to shipping schedules and safety protocols.
- Perform daily inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads and packers to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CFP, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mandatory overtime during peak seasons.
