Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and stage freight for daily delivery schedules.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of all forklifts and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
- Accurately document inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management software.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders, as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
