Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and delivery vehicles.
- Verify and count stock items to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator with valid license (Class A, B, or C preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying temperatures.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory logging.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
