What You Will Do:
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure all operations adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of machinery.
- Keep the warehouse organized and free of hazards.
- Document daily activities and inventory movements accurately.
- Assist in maintaining a 5S work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system entry.
- Willingness to undergo paid forklift certification training.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
