Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials moved, including inventory counts and shipping records.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and perform minor repairs when necessary.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (Valid forklift certification required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus.
