Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely.
- Inspect machinery daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Manage inventory by accurately counting stock and organizing storage areas.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of shipments and orders.
- Perform basic data entry and paperwork related to inventory movements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator (preferred but not required for the right candidate).
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
