Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure all inventory is accurately labeled, stacked, and organized according to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to verify that forklifts are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace, adhering strictly to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas efficiently.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (Must provide certification documentation).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for logging inventory.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or overtime if needed.
