Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean, orderly workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and log data into the warehouse management system.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and labeling.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Previous experience operating a forklift (counterbalance or reach) in a warehouse setting is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and completing paperwork.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
