Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive and operate forklifts (Class A, B, or C) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Pallet Handling: Use pallet jacks and banding equipment to prepare shipments for outbound transport.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required for immediate hire).
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Good manual dexterity.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Flexibility to work part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
