Job Summary
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is stored and moved efficiently and safely. You will work closely with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets.
Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory with precision.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently to maintain a steady supply chain flow.
- Inspect machinery and equipment before each shift to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
- Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, to prevent accidents.
- Perform inventory counts and ensure accurate labeling of stock.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFE) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety standards.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to understand instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
