Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and stock inspections.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and throughput goals.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A or B) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and walk extensive distances.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order picking.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
