Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo: Safely operate forklifts to move materials from trucks to storage areas and vice versa.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate counts and stock checks to maintain inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if required.
