Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle count procedures
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in organizing and maintaining clean, organized storage areas
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Osha-approved) and minimum 1 year operating experience
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and warehouse operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation with flexible availability for shift work
