Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., Reach Truck, Order Picker, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements into the warehouse management system.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CFL) or valid forklift license required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy industrial equipment in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
