Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial vehicles (PIDS) in strict accordance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks with precision and efficiency.
- Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Inspect equipment daily to identify maintenance needs and report issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to prevent hazards and ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist in the preparation of pallets, shrink-wrapping, and labeling for outbound shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, or High Lift preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.
