Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (Reach Trucks, Counterbalance, and Order Pickers) to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and shipping docks efficiently.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and performing manual spot checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform routine pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFP, Reach Truck, or Order Picker).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills for logging work and following instructions.
