Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts by scanning and logging stock movements into the inventory management system.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Prepare pallets for shipping and organize storage areas efficiently to maximize space.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and strict deadlines.
- Perform routine safety checks before and after each shift.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older due to DOT regulations.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
