Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, RF scanners) safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks.
- Verify inventory counts against shipping documents and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all 5S safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine safety inspections on equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately to management.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate order picking.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (CDL Class B is a plus).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
