Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse facilities
- Perform pre-shift inspections and maintain equipment logs
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Load/unload trucks and manage inventory with barcode scanning systems
- Document daily activities and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 48 hours
- Minimum 6 months of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends)
