Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure all safety mechanisms are functional.
- Organize and stock inventory racks, ensuring accuracy and efficient space utilization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Verify accuracy of orders by checking labels and quantities before processing shipments.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong understanding of weight capacity limits and load securement procedures.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data and using warehouse management systems.
