Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack) to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized to prevent accidents and improve workflow efficiency.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required (commercial license not required but preferred).
- Basic Literacy: Ability to read and understand basic safety instructions and work orders.
