Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
