Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Load, unload, and stack materials onto pallets or shelves according to safety guidelines.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Verify inventory counts and update stock records in the system accurately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL not required).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
