Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts by verifying stock against system data and organizing warehouse aisles.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards to prevent shipment errors.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and conveyance systems as required.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to streamline workflow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when reading labels and scanning barcodes to ensure error-free shipping.
- Reliability: Punctual with a consistent work history and the ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not always required.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic to process transactions and verify quantities.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
