Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inspect machinery for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Organize and maintain a clean, clutter-free warehouse environment to ensure safety compliance.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a forklift in a distribution or warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
