Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe working condition and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Organize, stack, and palletize products to ensure efficient space utilization and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and daily logs.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
