Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct thorough daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring freight is secured and organized for transport.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and ensure the warehouse floor is organized and clutter-free.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including load tags and safety logs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read and understand safety procedures and inventory lists.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable work history and pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
