Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately to maintenance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and organizing stock according to company protocols.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains organized, clean, and free of hazards to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas and deadlines.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA preferred) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
