Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and stage materials for shipping and receiving departments.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in a systematic manner.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned to support team efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation and availability for overtime when necessary.
