Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the facility and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements into the WMS.
- Ensure the warehouse remains organized and safe by adhering to strict OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas efficiently.
- Handle hazardous materials and heavy pallets with extreme care and precision.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CLP) with a valid, unexpired license.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
