Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency.
- Inspect forklifts daily for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding hazardous materials and traffic flow.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Assist with packaging and shipping processes to meet tight deadlines.
- Document daily logs accurately, including weight and load specifications.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts (counterbalance) and reach trucks.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weight calculations.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred for warehouse driving tasks).
