Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper documentation of stock movement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the night shift crew to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork accuracy.
- Strong adherence to workplace safety protocols and procedures.
