Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and yard areas
- Load/unload trucks and containers with attention to weight distribution and safety protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with shift supervisors to optimize weekend workflow efficiency
- Document material movements and warehouse activities accurately
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or equivalent certification)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with WMS software and inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Availability to work every weekend (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional overtime
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
